Did anyone say road trip? This Is Us Season 5 Episode 9, “The Ride,” is all about the journey to the destination as the Pearsons take us on a series of drives during defining moments of their lives.
For Kate and Kevin, that’s their separate drives home with the three newest additions to their families. It looks like we might even get to see a glimpse of Beth’s first car ride home as a mother, sleek bob haircut, and all.
The main event is the Big Three’s first car ride home with an anxious Rebecca and Jack at the wheel, which soon escalates as Jack looks to alcohol to soothe his nerves.
Judging from the promo photos, Rebecca is none too happy with this turn of events.
But it wouldn’t be a memorable road trip without a few bumps along the way.
