Preview — Tell Me A Story Season 2 Episode 5: New Pages
Everyone searches for answers as a means to start fresh on Tell Me A Story Season 2 Episode 5, “New Pages.” Of course, new beginnings aren’t that simple.
Ashley and Beau don’t have a lot of time to figure out their new romance and how Beau’s job complicates things, because Ashley’s convinced she’s not out of danger yet.
Ashley’s suspicions about Kyle being the person who orchestrated her attack is understandable. There are still too many episodes left in the season for the Beast of this tale to be revealed yet. This feels like it’s building to something much bigger.
Meanwhile, Simone and Jackson go full Cinderella at an elegant ball – abandoned glass slipper, or classy heel, and all. The ball can’t only be a chance for these to live out the happy side of their fairy tale. It also doubles as an opportunity to confront Veronica about her many secrets.
Elsewhere, things get even messier between Tucker and Maddie. Maddie knows about Tucker’s younger sister now, but she does not know that Tucker is holding a young woman captive to fill that void.
Maddie wants and deserves answers about Tucker’s suspicious behavior involving Olivia. Tucker will surely have some conveniently planned answer to make Maddie feel like she’s the wrong one.
This is all the more aggravating knowing that Maddie’s answers are right below her in Tucker’s creepy basement.
Tensions are building, and hopefully this means that at least one of these characters will learn the truth about their respective situation soon enough.

Episode description: Ashley’s (Natalie Alyn Lind) instincts tell her she’s not out of danger yet and Beau (Eka Darville) takes action to make her feel safe. Simone (Ashley Madekwe) and Jackson (Matt Lauria) attend an elegant ball to confront Veronica (guest star Garcelle Beauvais).
Meanwhile, Tucker (Paul Wesley) feels his relationship with Maddie (Odette Annable) is finally back on track while she has doubts. Lastly, Olivia (guest star Danielle Campbell) begins to understand her captor. Carrie-Anne Moss also stars.
