What to Expect from Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 Episode 3: Time For Some R&R
The crew heads to a pleasure planet for some needed shore leave on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 Episode 3, “Human Best Friend.”
After a particular harrowing away mission on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 Episode 3, “Griffin Incident,” the crew of the Enterprise could definitely use a break.
But what starts as a short escape to rest and recuperate soon turns dangerous when most of the crew wakes up without memories of the previous night.
Is this just a supersized hangover thanks to the planet’s alcohol like alien gases? Or, is there something more nefarious afoot? We’re guessing it’s the latter, and this time it will be feuding crewmates Scotty and Ortegas that have to save the day.
Beyond that, there isn’t much we know about the plot of this episode, but the preview images do drop a few hints about what we might expect for some of the characters.
First, there are the images of La’an. She is looking particularly tense, even by her standards, in the photos. It could just be La’an being extra uptight or being someone uncomfortable relaxing.
However, La’an was one of the crew members who really went through it on “Griffin Incident.” It wouldn’t be surprising if we see some emotional fallout from that on “Human Best Friend.”
Perhaps more exciting are the multiple images of Spock and Kirk, including one of them hugging. Is Kirk the titular “Human Best Friend” of this episode?
