Legacies Review: What Cupid Problem? (Season 2 Episode 11)
When love runs amuck inside the Salvatore School things get crazier by the moment for everyone inside on Legacies Season 2 Episode 11, “What Cupid Problem?”
Off the bat I think this could be one of the creepiest episodes of the season so far; But, I absolutely love it. I love the spin of making the audience think this is their take on Cupid in the beginning and making it another god by the end of the episode.I applaud the creative geniuses behind this show because I have yet to be bored while watching and am always itching for more by the end.

For MG it’s depressing that he’s finally moving on from Lizzie and as soon as he tries to start things off with Kym it’s ruined within twenty-four hours. First by Kaleb, which is the wrong move for a friend to do to another friend; Second by Alyssa, even if she was under the influence of Pothos’ arrow.
I think that Kym and MG could’ve been a cute couple, but there’s no getting around a human staying inside a home full of supernatural creatures who can tear you apart with ease. I wish that MG could find someone that clicks with him, but the smart idea is for Kym to leave.
Alyssa can use the arrow spell as an excuse as to why she tried to kill Kym with an ax and why she broke the ascendant, but it doesn’t mean anything because it’s something she’d do with no influence. She sent the Saltzman’s off to nowhere while under the influence of her own intentions.

Alyssa’s not a good person; I’m happy that they’re going to continue to keep her locked up so she can’t try anything drastic again. Like trying to kill Kym or MG so he can’t love anyone else.
With the real ascendant destroyed the hopes of bringing Alaric, Lizzie, and Josie back from the prison world anytime soon is completely gone. The longer they’re trapped in there with Kai and all of the banished students the stronger the chances of them getting hurt or being trapped for good. The prison world was built to be inescapable, so they have to leave all of their hope on Hope.
Speaking of needing hope, I am bursting at the seams with joy that Landon has finally learned a new power skill of his own. But, he couldn’t have made the discovery without Hope and the real love she has for him. The arrow he stabs himself with makes him tell the truth, and the truth is that sometimes Hope picking him over everyone else seems unreal and not something he can accept.

However, her diary entry is the thing that lights up that hidden spark deep inside Landon and allows him to float them both in the air without realizing it. As soon as he learns how to control his flying he could become a real threat to the creatures that keep coming.
Even though Pothos coming to the school is a bad thing that ended in the ascendant being shattered Emma and Dorian being lovey-dovey and not arguing constantly is a highlight from the episode.
Dorian and Emma are adorable together and the arrows pushed them to move their relationship forward, but a little too far for one day. I’m curious to see how they handle the marriage and Jed being the one trying to stop it.
