25 Characters We Would Love To See Return To DCTV

Arrow, Gotham, Legends of Tomorrow, Lists, Supergirl, The Flash
7. Jeremiah Danvers (Supergirl)

Dean Cain as Jeremiah Danvers - Supergirl

The once thought dead Jeremiah Danvers, is a well-thought about father with the willingness to move mountains for his daughters, Kara and Alex. His guest appearances on Supergirl Season 2 uncover great mysteries into Project Cadmus.

His recent absence is a bit concerning, with leaving so many doors open, but with no way to enter them. Please bring back Jeremiah so that the viewers don’t feel so clueless.

If we feel like watching Unsolved Mysteries, we can check out clips on YouTube.

8. Jay Garrick (The Flash)

John Wesley Shipp as Jay Garrick - The Flash

As mentors go, Jay Garrick is in the top tier. His advice about messing with the timeline sets Barry Allen straight in The Flash Season 3.

All of us have many things that we can learn from our elders who have been around the block before us. With both of Barry’s parents now deceased (RIP), it would make sense for him to seek guidance from a man who he not only respects, but also who has been in many of the same kind of situations.

9. Connor Hawke (Legends of Tomorrow)

Joseph David-Jones as Connor Hawke - Legends of Tomorrow

When Sara Lance and her crew travel to an alternate future of Star City onLegends of Tomorrow Season 1 Episode 6, they run into an unknown masked hero named Connor Hawke. When he announces that he is the son of John Diggle, every loyal viewer of Legends of Tomorrow knows he means some serious business.

The idea of this character brings about so much mystery and “what if” scenarios, that just about everybody’s interest is peeked. How does Connor decide to pick up the mantle? Why is he calling his father a coward?

A further exploration of this possible future, through the eyes of someone who lives it since childhood, would make for some great and intriguing entertainment.

10. Nathaniel Barnes (Gotham)

Michael Chiklis as Nathaniel Barnes - Gotham

From Captain Barnes to the Executioner, Nathaniel Barnes is always tough as nails. His thirst for justice on Gotham is only rivaled by the one and only Jim Gordon.

It would be fitting to have this currently missing sadist back on the streets he loves for a showdown with the newbie in town, Sofia Falcone. What side would Jim Gordon choose in a war like this?

11. Katana (Arrow)

Tatsu Yamashiro as Katana -Arrow

After Tatsu Yamashiro’s son dies, she picks up her sword and becomes the heroine known as Katana. Tatsu’s heartbreaking story unfolds throughout Arrow Season 3, concluding with the blood of her husband dripping at her feet.

Her bond with Oliver Queen is beyond just flesh and bone. Their shared tragedy should make them platonic soulmates.

If Katana is able to grace our screen again, she could replace the recently defected Dinah Drake, so as to not take away from the girl power of Team Arrow.

12. Cat Grant (Supergirl)

Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant - Supergirl

What is Catco without the irreplaceable Cat Grant?

Supergirl Season 1 establishes a wonderfully complicated relationship between Cat and Kara. When she leaves on a sabbatical, we can only hope that it lasts but a few episodes.

Unfortunately, Cat’s wit has been, for the most part, absent ever since.

The charismatic banter involving Supergirl’s alter ego and her boss is sorely missed. What we wouldn’t give to hear a well-timed pep talk delivered in the voice of the blatant and to the point Cat Grant, even a short phone call between the two could give us long-time fans a quick chuckle and a reminiscing smile.
