25 Characters We Would Love To See Return To DCTV

Arrow, Gotham, Legends of Tomorrow, Lists, Supergirl, The Flash
19. Gideon (Legends of Tomorrow)

Amy Pemberton as Gideon - Legends of Tomorrow

We all know that Gideon is the ever-present voice aboard the Waverider on Legends of Tomorrow. But during a trip through the mind of Rip Hunter, we finally get to see this disembodied voice personified.

The endless talent of Gideon is a great addition to the team. Imagine if she was able to keep this human form and actually be able to assist on a mission off the ship?

Her intellect alone would make her irreplaceable, but imagine all the fighting techniques she could download into herself at any given moment. She could make the team virtually unstoppable.

20. John Grayson (Gotham)

Rob Gorrie as John Grayson -Gotham

John Grayson isn’t an everyday character that pops straight to mind when thinking of Gotham. He shows up for only an episode and gets forgotten the minute an enigmatic clown with the name of Jerome shows up.

But with the last name of Grayson, we know that he will tie in heavily to the future of our young hero, Bruce Wayne.

Gotham always has an inventive way of binding everyone’s lives into a tapestry that forms the lore of the Caped Crusader. It is only a matter of time before Haley’s Circus ends up back in town and for John to walk into the lives of Bruce and Alfred.

21. Helena Bertinelli (Arrow)

Jessica De Gouw as Helena Bertinelli - Arrow

Helena Bertinelli has a similar taste for blood as Oliver did when he first left the island. Her need for revenge on her father brings her to extreme measures, and Oliver attempts to do what he can to tame her in Arrow Season 1.

This frenemy relationship is quite entertaining and borderlines on making Oliver a flat-out hypocrite. If Oliver has been able to make good with the likes of Slade Wilson and Vigilante, why not bring Helena back into the picture and have her no holds barred approach grace the streets of Star City again?

Plus with Helena being a former lover of Oliver’s, it would be great to see her rustle Felicity’s tail feathers just for fun.

22. Mr. Mxyzptlk (Supergirl)

Peter Gadiot as Mr. Mxyzptlk - Supergirl

Yes, Mr. Mxyzptlk, that annoying little imp that steps in to stop Karamel’s first kiss. His quirky pranks are fun to watch as he disrupts the lives of everyone on Supergirl, just as long as they aren’t happening to us.

What mischief can this guy cause next time he shows up in National City?

With all the power he has at his fingertips, he won’t stay gone for long, especially now that Kara is single and brokenhearted. His hope to win her heart just might ignite with a new passion.

23. Eddie Thawne (The Flash)

Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne - The Flash

Eddie Thawne, the man who pays the ultimate price to save Central City. Ironically enough, his sacrifice only temporarily stops Eobard from tormenting the entire cast of The Flash.

If Eddie’s future ancestor can somehow constantly defy the timeline and death itself, than why can’t Eddie at least make a cameo? Doesn’t his heroic act at least earn him that much? Maybe his Earth 2 counterpart could swing by Star Labs just to shake things up a bit.

24. Mary Xavier (Legends of Tomorrow)

Celia Imrie as Mary Xavier - Legends of Tomorrow

The adoptive mother of Rip Hunter, Mary Xavier, makes her appearance at the end of Legends of Tomorrow Season 1. Although her on-screen time is short, her actions make quite an impact.

As the leader of The Refuge, an orphanage somewhere between time, this incredible woman must have many stories to tell.

How many future superheroes cross her path in their youth? How many lessons does she teach these young children that may one day save the world?

Such an interesting character shouldn’t be tossed away after one use.

25. Fish Mooney (Gotham)

Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney - Gotham

Fish Mooney is one of the most influential people in Oswald Cobblepot’s rise to infamy. Her stint in the early episodes of Gotham help to set the tone of the entire series.

So technically she dies twice, why not add a third time just for good measure? An exciting twist could be to make her a lackey to Oswald. This could bring their relationship full circle and really drive home the fact that Penguin is at the top of his game.
