During Insecure Season 1, best friends Issa and Molly butted heads a bit about their life choices, but since then, they have become a solid team.

The two women supported regardless of what anyone thought or said, and it was incredible to watch their tight bond in the face of hardship. Whether it was Issa’s romantic troubles or Molly’s tough situation at work, these two were always there for one another.

14. Liza and Kelsey (Younger)
Younger Ep. 405 (Airs 7/26, 10pm ET/PT)
“Younger” Ep. 405 (Airs 7/26, 10pm ET/PT)

Younger is a series about a forty-year-old woman who lies about her age to get a job in publishing and focuses a lot on the interpersonal relationships. None have been more important than Liza and Kelsey’s relationship as coworkers.

They went from working together to running their own imprint. But their relationship hit a little snag earlier this year when Liza came clean to Kelsey about her lie.

Younger Season 4 saw them fight and then forgive each other. Thankfully, they’ve been able to move past Liza’s lie and continue going on about the business of running an imprint geared towards millennials.

It’s impossible to think about dynamic duos without thinking of Harvey Specter and Mike Ross from Suits. What started as a mentorship eventually turned into an important friendship. Sure, it’s had its ups and downs, especially recently, but Harvey and Mike are basically family. They also make one heck of a team when it comes to the law.

16. Grace and Frankie (Grace and Frankie)

These unlikely friends bonded when each of their lives was turned upside down. Grace and Frankie may be wildly different from one another, but they’ve grown to be best friends who have each others’ backs no matter what.

They also proved how well they work together as a team when they started a business together selling vibrators made for older women — because these women are just that fabulous.

17. Bonnie and Christie (Mom)

Mom - Bonnie and Christie Plunkett

The mother and daughter recovering alcoholics on Mom have been through some tough times, but they continue to push through. Bonnie and Christie’s relationship hasn’t always been easy, but it has been interesting to watch.

While 2017 seems to have been a relatively stable year for the Plunketts, there are likely more exploits on the horizon.

18. Regina and Zelena (Once Upon a Time)
 20 Dynamic TV Duos of 2017 - Part 3
ONCE UPON A TIME – “Where Bluebirds Fly” – (ABC/Jack Rowand)
REBECCA MADER, LANA PARRILLA

Once Upon a Time went through some changes at the close of its sixth season, but one thing that has been amazing to watch is Regina and Zelena’s relationship. The two sisters, who were once enemies, found common ground to defeat the Dark Fairy.

One of the final episodes in Once Upon a Time Season 6 even featured a sequence where Regina attempted to teach Zelena how to drive a stick shift with as much bickering as you could expect from a pair of sisters.
