Julia and Quentin haven’t had the easiest of friendships. In The Magicians Season 1, Quentin and Julia friendship was ripped apart by Breakbills Academy. Over the course of the season, they finally find their way back to each other in order to defeat The Beast.

In The Magicians Season 2, the two of them have undergone some changes, including the loss of Julia’s shade, which complicated their relationship a bit. However, once again, they manage to find their way back to each other.

Julia and Quentin make one hell of a team, and that’s one of the reasons why we love them so much. No matter what life or magic throws at them, they are there for one another.
