20 Dynamic TV Duos of 2017
7. Meredith Grey and Alex Karev (Grey’s Anatomy)

Meredith Grey and Alex Karev have a very complicated relationship on Grey’s Anatomy.
On Grey’s Anatomy Season 1 Episode 1, Alex insults Meredith by calling her a nurse. Fast forward over a decade later and Alex and Meredith have become friends and even roommates on occasion.
More than that, they often push each other in the direction they know the other needs to go.
8. Stiles and Scott (Teen Wolf)

Teen Wolf was built on the foundation of Scott and Stiles’ friendship and that was still true during the final run of episodes. During the first half of the final season, Stiles was wiped from everyone’s memories, and it was his bond to the characters, including Scott, that brought him back.
Scott and Stiles will always be there to look out for each other. Sometimes that means calling the other for help, and sometimes it means solving problems on their own so the other can lead a normal life.
There are some bonds that will never break, and Scott and Stiles’ friendship is one of them.
9. Steve and Dustin (Stranger Things)

The breakout relationship from Stranger Things Season 2 isn’t a romantic one at all. It is the friendship between Steve and Dustin.
While Steve has kicked demogorgon ass before, Dustin is definitely the one that’s more experienced with all things Upside Down. Dustin takes Steve under his wing and brings him up to speed on everything that’s been going on while Steve has been dealing with his Nancy woes.
Steve, on the other hand, takes it upon himself to help Dustin in the ladies department. He even shares his top secret hair care trick! They are an unlikely pair, but they have one of the best friendships in Hawkins.
10. Wynonna and Waverly (Wynonna Earp)

One show that does great relationships is Wynonna Earp, and the most prominent duo is the loving sister relationship between Wynonna and Waverly.
Their bond is unbreakable, and while they started out on rocky ground for different reasons, they both have come to realize that they not only need each other, but they depend on each other.
Waverly and Wynonna both have their share of substantial anguish during Wynonna Earp Season 2, and both were by each other’s side while they tackled these challenges head-on.
Wynonna never lets Waverly forget she should be the top priority, and Waverly is a constant cheerleader (pun intended) for Wynonna. From trapping spiders to awkward timing entrances, these two always bring the humor and heart to Wynonna Earp.
11. Tomas and Marcus (The Exorcist)

Tomas and Marcus’s student and teacher relationship and friendship on The Exorcist has been one of the most compelling relationships to watch.
Tomas Ortega was pulled into the world of exorcism by the Rance family during The Exorcist Season 1 but has continued his training with Marcus, until he was eventually named an exorcist himself this season.
Watching the two exorcize and battle demons for two seasons has been a nail-biting thrill-ride and a pleasure to watch. Their conversations are nuanced, and their teamwork is exceptional.
12. Dutch & Johnny (Killjoys)

Dutch and Johnny’s friendship is one of the top driving forces for what makes Killjoys one of the best shows on the air.
There is a quiet understanding of unabiding love and respect between these two friends, and there is no question that this brother/sister relationship will stand the test of intergalactic crisis.
Their friendship often stays below the radar because of everything going on, but it is vital part of why the show does so well. Their unique job as bounty hunter partners often leads to some exhilarating situations, but their loyalty and bond towards one another always comes to the forefront no matter what.
The warrant may be all, but to Johnny and Dutch — their relationship will always come first.
