Dichen Lachman

The Blacklist: 22 Actresses We’d Love to be Blacklisters - Part 2

Dichen Lachman has a string of action roles on shows including The Last Ship, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and most recently as Supergirl’s Roulette. Through these roles Lachman has shown her ability to play both villain and hero well.

Some of the best Blacklisters are a little of both, so the actress would be a great addition to the NBC drama.

Mireille Enos
The Blacklist: 22 Actresses We’d Love to be Blacklisters - Part 2
THE CATCH – “Pilot” – ABC/Richard Cartwright

After starring on The Killing, Mireille Enos played dubious and shifty private eye Alice Vaughan on The Catch for two seasons.

Alice was a good guy at the end of the day, but she had no problem bending the rules. She fell in love with a con man and got wrapped up in his world. In fact, episodes where Alice got involved in the con man antics were ones when Enos shined.

Maybe she could be the one running the con on the NBC series, and it would be fun to see what Enos could do with a great villainous role.

Hayley Atwell
The Blacklist: 22 Actresses We’d Love to be Blacklisters - Part 2 MARVEL'S AGENT CARTER - "Marvel's Agent Carter," starring "Captain America's" Hayley Atwell, follows the story of Peggy Carter. It's 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life - Steve Rogers. Inspired by the feature films "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," along with the short "Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter." (Marvel/Katrin Marchinowski)

Hayley Atwell had a great run, both in film and on television, as Peggy Carter. She fought for her respect at a time when no one wanted her to excel. In the end, she became an elite spy and went on to create Marvel agency S.H.I.E.L.D. The mix of the right actor in the right role took the character from female lead opposite Chris Evans’ Captain America to Agent Carter, a series of her own.

We’ve seen what Atwell can do as a hero, so it could be time to see what she’s capable of as a villain.

Lyndie Greenwood

The Blacklist: 22 Actresses We’d Love to be Blacklisters - Part 2

After playing tech genius Sonya on Nikita, Lyndie Greenwood joined the cast of Sleepy Hollow. On the supernatural series, Greenwood played artifact hunter Jenny Mills, who spent years fighting against the forces of evil even if it meant breaking the rules at times.

Greenwood would be a great Blacklister, particularly playing a criminal that provides a service instead of one of the show’s vicious killers.

Ruth Wilson

The Blacklist: 22 Actresses We’d Love to be Blacklisters - Part 2

People may be enjoying Ruth Wilson on The Affair, but she will always be Luther’s Alice Morgan. She was the serial killer who began the series by getting away with killing her parents and ended up becoming one of Luther’s (Idris Elba) biggest allies. I may be biased because Morgan is one of my favorite television characters, but Wilson was brilliant as the intelligent and brutal killer.

The Blacklist would be a prime opportunity for Wilson to wear a more villainous role, at least for a little while.

Melissa George

The Blacklist: 22 Actresses We’d Love to be Blacklisters - Part 2

The Blacklist should cast Melissa George to play a spy because I miss Sam Hunter…well, not just for that reason.

On Hunted, George starred as a spy who must investigate her co-workers because she believed they made an attempt on her life. Fans of the series are still disappointed about the spinoff that never happened, and they’d flock to The Blacklist if the show decided to use George’s talents.
