The Blacklist: 22 Actresses We’d Love to be Blacklisters
Angie Harmon

For seven seasons Angie Harmon played one half of dynamic duo Rizzoli & Isles.
As a cop, Harmon’s Jane Rizzoli was a tough and unflinching detective who always closed her cases. Since the crime procedural ended Harmon has not returned to television, but maybe a turn as a villain on The Blacklist can lure her back to our screens.
Archie Panjabi

What fan of The Good Wife didn’t love Kalinda Sharma?
Kalinda Sharma is an investigator who didn’t always color between the lines. Archie Panjabi was a scene stealer. Most of the characters on this legal drama were polished lawyers with distinct personalities, but no one stood out like Kalinda.
The Blacklist could do much worse than a cast member from The Good Wife, especially Panjabi.
Tatiana Maslany

Towards the middle of every season of The Blacklist there are two-part episodes where bigger name actors or major twists are put front and center. Regrettably, there has only been one woman at the center of any of The Blacklists’ two-parters, and who better to be featured on this season’s two-parter than Maslany?
On Orphan Black, Maslany played numerous clones with unique personalities. Her range was put on full display in every episode. Maslany played an eccentric housewife, lethal killer and grifter — usually all in the same episode.
Getting a post-Orphan Black Tatiana Maslany to head to the NBC drama would make a HUGE splash, and we all know that Maslany is more than up for the task of playing someone nefarious.
Sarah Shahi

Sarah Shahi has had many incredible roles on television over the years, but when she joined Person of Interest as Shaw, the actress was able to kick ass on a weekly basis. Shaw was rough-around-the-edges and never let anyone take advantage of her, but she always fought for her friends, usually in a lethal fashion.
To be honest I could see Shaw landing on Reddington’s Blacklist herself, which would definitely be fun to see. If her upcoming NBC series Reverie isn’t keeping her too busy, then Shahi would be the perfect choice to guest on The Blacklist.
Lucy Lawless

Can you think of a better person to guest as a Blacklister than the woman who played Xena?
Xena was the lethal warrior princess who sought out redemption by fighting for the little guy. On a weekly basis, Lawless beat the bad guys down and saved the day, but as the series progressed, more of Xena’s past as a villain was revealed, which added layers to the hero viewers loved.
Not only did she play the iconic Xena, but she has consistently appeared on television since. Sign her up!
If The Blacklist wants a major star who can rival James Spader in a scene, then Lucy Lawless is the perfect choice. She’d be another great choice to play the Blacklister in a two-part episode.
Simone Missick

Misty Knight is arguably the best character in Marvel’s collection of Netflix shows, which is a testament to the skill of actress Simone Missick.
Misty is a law enforcement professional working in Harlem who just wants to keep her community safe. Her relentless pursuit to kick the bad guys out of her city makes her one of the most relatable and beloved cops on television.
While I’m sure Missick is happy playing Misty and Marvel is keeping her busy, it would be nice to see her in another roles. A great guest spot on The Blacklist as an enemy of Reddington and the task force could be just the opportunity for her to play something a little different, if she has the time.
