The Blacklist: 22 Actresses We’d Love to be Blacklisters
Summer Glau

Summer Glau has shined in genre roles on Firefly and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, but her stint on Arrow is evidence of how perfect she is for The Blacklist.
During the CW drama’s second season she played Isabel Rochev, a businesswoman with some evil intentions. Entering the series to help the very neglectful Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) keep his family’s business afloat, Glau played the role of irritated business partner well.
Isabel was just enough dark to be interesting, but then her true villainous intentions were revealed, which was the exact moment I realized she’d be great on The Blacklist.
Katee Sackhoff

Recently the Battlestar Galactica star was cast in a recurring role on The Flash, so she’s been on my mind.
On Battlestar Galactica, Katee Sackhoff played Kara Thrace, also known as Starbuck, a brave and hot-headed pilot with real convictions who fought to keep her fellow shipmates alive in space.
Sackhoff will always be Starbuck to me, but she’s currently a series regular on Longmire. Fortunately for The Blacklist, the final season of Longmire will air this year, so the time could be right to add Sackhoff to Red’s list.
Adrianne Palicki

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. made the mistake of not bringing Adrianne Palicki back into the fold after her Marvel spinoff series was not pick up by ABC.
During her stint on the show, Palicki played the lethal and loyal Bobbi Morse, known to comic book fans as Mockingbird. Bobbi was fun, nice, and warm to her fellow agents, but when it came to missions, she kicked ass better than most. Palicki’s charisma and ability to hold viewer’s attention on screen made her standout amongst a big ensemble cast.
Fox’s new fall show The Orville could get in the way, but I’d love to see her play a rich villain on The Blacklist.
Maggie Q

The first time Maggie Q came to my attention was when she starred on CW drama Nikita. Her character was a highly trained spy who worked hard over 4 seasons to take down the evil organization that forced her to become an operative. Nikita was lethal, but it was her conviction for her mission, and the family she made, that made her a compelling lead.
Q is currently playing a fearless and determined FBI agent on Designated Survivor, but I bet she’d enjoy getting back into the grey moral area on The Blacklist.
Well, The Blacklist gave viewers a 23rd epsiode in its second season, so here’s a surprise last addition to the list!
Gillian Anderson

If The Blacklist wants to make a splash, then the series should get Scully herself to take on Reddington and the task force. On beloved sci-fi series The X Files, she was one half of a duo that handled cases with an odd aspect to them. The series delved into the world of aliens, and Anderson’s Scully was the skeptic on the team.
It would be an incredible coup for the NBC series to cast Gillian Anderson as a brilliant criminal that battles Reddington. The Blacklist is great when Reddington is up against someone formidable, and Anderson is absolutely a match for Spader.
Do you think The Blacklist needs more woman on Red’s list? Who would you like to see on the NBC drama? Let us know in the comments!
