10 Ships That Made Us Heart-Eyed in 2015
The year is almost over. Wow. It sure went by fast, right? It seems like only yesterday we were crying over the season finales of our favorite TV shows, back in May, and now here we are, agonizing over the mid-season finales in December. It seems being a fan is just a never-ending circle of pain.
Okay, not quite, a never-ending circle of pain with some happy moments thrown in.
Because, yes, TV might make us scream and cry and throw stuff, but it also makes us aww and go all heart-eyed emoticon. That’s why we stick with it. Because we’re invested. We take the good with the bad, the love with the hate. Especially, when it comes to shipping.
The couples on this list have had their ups and downs. That’s a given on TV. You can’t get to the Promised Land without a little bit (a lot) of heartache. But they’ve made our hearts beat faster, our stomachs clench, our hands sweat. They’ve made us feel. And that’s why they made it.
10. Brennan x Booth, Bones
We’ve been through a lot with these two. First there were the years and years of will-they-won’t-they, then the yes, then the kid, then the marriage. Brennan and Booth have never been the most traditional couple, or the one who get the most media attention, but they’ve carved a spot in our hearts and despite the fact that they’ve been around for so long, we just can’t quit them. We don’t want to.
9. Ben x Leslie, Parks and Recreation
Ben and Leslie are the type of couple you not only ship, but you hope to one day be, especially if you’re a geek. (And, if you’re reading this list, you probably are). They’re also one of the prime examples of what a mature relationship can and should be. And that’s why, even though they’re no longer with us, Ben and Leslie will always be in our hearts.
8. Lisbon x Jane, The Mentalist
The show is over. It ended months ago. And yet we’re not still over it. We’re not sure we ever will be. Other shows have ended their run with the main couple getting married, yes, but, after years of being terrorized by Red John, has an ending ever felt as deserved as the one Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon got? We don’t think so.

Bellarke, Hollstein and Olicity as number one? This is a fantastic list. My top three current ships so rarely make it on a list together. I love it.
Olicity should really be number 1 because they have gone through so much within this year and still made it out together. There is no question that Felicity survives being shot. I just think her condition might be more complicated than any of us will believe.
This hit me with too many FEEEEELSSSAHHHH. Olicity has taken over my life and I aint complaining! Such a beautiful mature relationship being portrayed on TV by 2 very talented actors who approach their characters and this relationship with so many layers and depths. TOO BEAUTIFUL FOR THIS WORLD
