Over the past few weeks, we at Tell-Tale TV asked you to nominate and vote for your favorite shows of 2025. After two rounds of voting, across categories for network TV shows and cable/streaming TV shows, the results are in!

Following the reveal of the Top 10 Network TV Shows of 2025, we’re now excited to share the Top 10 Cable/Streaming TV Shows of the year, as chosen by you, our readers. 

Ranked in reverse order based on the number of votes, here are the Top 10 Cable/Streaming TV Shows of 2025 according to our readers:

10. The Summer I Turned Pretty

The Summer I Turned Pretty had everyone talking this summer, ending with its most dramatic season yet. The story still isn’t over, though, as a follow-up movie has been announced.

Dept. Q. turned out to be one of the most intriguing detective series of the year.

7. Outlander: Blood of My Blood

6. Resident Alien

Resident Alien’s final season ended on just the right note, but viewers will certainly miss Harry Vanderspeigle.

After seven seasons, Outlander continues to be a fan favorite with its emotional stories and powerful performances.

2. The Way Home

This surprising Hallmark drama series is full of twists and intrigue, while also remaining heartfelt and endearing. Its fourth and final season will air in 2026.

This much-anticipated spinoff series that brought back two fan-favorite characters earns the top spot this year. There is no news yet of a renewal, but fans are hopeful!
