Things finally heat up on Tell Me A Story Season One Episode 7, “Betrayal,” as three Grimm-Esque fairytales quickly cascade into increasingly irreparable nightmares.

Things continue to move at a glacial place on Tell Me A Story Season 1 Episode 6, “Guilt,” as the three main vignettes do nothing but stop and stall storylines from digressing into something compelling.

While things are beginning to pick up on Tell Me A Story Season 1 Episode 5, “Madness,” the performances continue to outweigh the quality of the story itself. 

Tell Me A Story Season 1 Episode 4, “Rage,” continues to struggle with finding its thesis; bypassing creator Williamson’s usual complex genre critique and choosing to supplement stories with over-saturated meta moments that superficially align with the source material it draws from. 

After requiring the rights from CBS All Access, The CW network is giving Kevin Williamson’s newest series brand new life, and it all begins with Tell Me A Story Season 1 Episode 1, “Hope.”
