The Bear Season 5 Trailer Released by FX
The Bear, in all of its chaotic glory, is set to return for its fifth and final season.
FX released the trailer for The Bear Season 5, which releases on Thursday, June 25, at 9/8c on FX and Hulu.
According to Deadline, the final eight-episode season is set to pick up the morning after Carmy and Syd’s explosive fight on The Bear Season 4 Episode 10, “Goodbye,” where it’s revealed Carmy is leaving The Bear.

However, from The Bear Season 5 trailer, it seems Carmy’s departure will be short-lived.
The trailer opens with Syd looking pensive as she mulls over a dish. Carmy’s voiceover (“Just take a breath. Listen to the pan. You hear the music?”) suggests that his presence continues to ground Syd.
It’ll be interesting to see the ebb and flow of their dynamic, especially as Syd, according to Variety, is set to take over the kitchen as head chef.
The Bear Season 5 trailer is as much gloomy and anxiety-inducing as it is hopeful and reflective.

There is a consistent backdrop of rain, reflecting that Season 5 may be The Bear at its most vulnerable.
The trailer possesses a similar quality to The Bear Season 1, in that everything that can go wrong is simultaneously occurring.
The restaurant is flooded, deliveries are being cut off, food supply is low, and money is short. Worst of all, the building might get sold.
Despite this overwhelming sense of dread, there’s a palpable sense of togetherness. The Bear Season 5 synopsis emphasizes the crux of the final season lies in community.

“Ultimately, they learn that what makes a restaurant ‘perfect’ might not be the food, but the people,” it reads.
The Bear is created by Christopher Storer and co-run by Storer and Joanna Calo.
The Bear Season 5 stars Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, Matty Matheson, and Edwin Lee Gibson.
