Elle Season 1 Trailer Throws the Los Angeles’ Sweetheart Into a Punk Rock, ’90s High School
For Elle Woods to survive her coming years at Harvard, she had to go through some troubling times in high school on Elle. Unfortunately for her, it’ll take more than personality to survive.
Prime Video released the Elle Season 1 trailer. The eight-episode season premieres on Wednesday, July 1.
Recently, the Legally Blonde prequel series was also renewed for a second season. However, to see where Elle Woods will go next, fans must look back on the events that brought Los Angeles’ sweetheart to this position.

The Elle trailer sees young Elle and her family moving to Seattle after celebrating her birthday, much to Elle’s shock. The move from Los Angeles leaves her further surprised during her first days at a new high school, where she gets bullied.
Although she tries to make new friends and connect with others, Elle seemingly can’t. Fortunately, with some advice from her West Coast friends, Elle tries to do what she can to fit in, despite what her classmates think.
What ensues is some messier situations for Elle, like trying to figure out what’s happening with the school’s staff, being in a mosh pit, and much more. Everything seems to unravel around her, but she’s got her mother to help her out.
Despite all the trouble that Elle has to go through at school, Elle Season 1 offers a deeper look at the relationship between her and her mother, Eva.

According to Elle Season 1’s synopsis, Elle will “form an even tighter bond to her mother, proving that they can get through anything life throws their way as long as they have each other.”
Lexi Minetree stars as Elle Woods alongside June Diane Raphael as Elle’s mother, Eva, and Tom Everett Scott as her father, Wyatt. The cast also includes Jacob Moskovitz, Gabrielle Policano, Chandler Kinney, Zac Looker, and Amy Pietz.
Brad Harder, Chloe Wepper, Danielle Chand, David Burtka, James Van Der Beek, Jessica Belkin, Kayla Maisonet, Lisa Yamada, Logan Shroyer, Matt Oberg, and Sharon Taylor also star.
Elle Season 1 is created by Laura Kittrell and co-showrun by Kittrell and Caroline Dries. Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, Amanda Brown, Marc Platt, and Brad Van Arragon are also executive producers.
