Enola Holmes 3 Trailer Finds Sherlock Holmes Missing Betwixt the Burning Flames of Marriage

It seemed like there was nothing that could separate the Holmes siblings, given what they’ve been through in the past. However, there may be something that finally does, as Enola Holmes is now forced to find her missing brother in Enola Holmes 3.

The upcoming sequel, which premieres on Wednesday, July 1, on Netflix, opens up a new world for Enola as her investigative skills are truly put to the test.

Last time fans saw Enola, the detective finally opened her own agency, but still faced some struggles. In Enola Holmes 3, it appears that the challenges she’ll have to face are much more complicated. 

Enola Holmes 3 picks up some time after the second film, where Enola has been trying to make the most of her new agency. She’s lived her best life with Tewkesbury, who finally poses the daring question of marriage to Enola.

However, things for the newlyweds might not end up as they want. From Tewkesbury’s family wanting to have the marriage in Malta to Enola’s hesitancy to make sure everything goes as she sees fit, the little troubles build to something far more drastic.

As Enola tries to determine whether she truly wants Tewkesbury’s hand in marriage, she’s wrapped up in a new case when Sherlock mysteriously disappears. Fortunately, Dr. Watson is there to help Enola solve this case.

This new mystery will have Enola searching through cryptic clues left by Sherlock and face explosive consequences. Whether or not Enola will truly overcome her doubts and solve this case remains unknown.

That said, there’s even more family troubles on the way for Enola. The trailer reveals that Enola and Sherlock’s mother, Eudoria, makes another appearance in the Enola Holmes films.

Although she doesn’t see Enola as her favorite child, Eudoria is still confident in Enola’s investigative abilities.

Millie Bobby Brown returns as the titular Enola Holmes alongside Louis Partridge as Enola’s dashing fiancé, Tewkesbury. In addition, Himesh Patel, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Susan Wokoma, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter star in the film.

Enola Holmes 3 is directed by Philip Barantini and written by Jack Thorne. The producers include Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Ali Mendes, Millie Bobby Brown, Robert Brown, Michael Dreyer, and Jack Thorne. Joshua Grode, Jake Bongiovi, and Isobel Richards will executive produce.
