CBS has renewed 10 of its shows, including NCIS, Tracker, and George & Mandy’s First Marriage, for its 2026/2027 primetime schedule.

NCIS will return for its 24th season on the network, while the Justin Hartley-led series will return for its fourth. The Young Sheldon spinoff series’ renewal means that the comedy series, starring Montana Jordan and Emily Osment, will air its third season.

Alongside them, Kathy Bates will reprise her titular role with Matlock being renewed for Season 3. It remains Thursday night’s #1 entertainment program, per CBS.

Beyond the long-running flagship series, CBS has also renewed the prequel, NCIS: Origins, for Season 3 and the Australia-set NCIS: Sydney for Season 4.

As for the latter, there is still no word on when NCIS: Sydney Season 3 Episode 9, “South of Nowhere,” will air after being pulled from the network’s schedule in December. However, CBS does have NCIS: Sydney Season 3 scheduled to return on Tuesday, February 24, at 10/9c.

CBS has also renewed Elsbseth for Season 4 and Fire Country for Season 5.

This latter’s news comes after its spinoff series, Sheriff Country, was renewed for a sophomore season alongside freshman drama (and Blue Bloods spinoff series) Boston Blue in December.

CBS’s unscripted staples Survivor and The Amazing Race have also been renewed for an additional season. All of the above join the previously-renewed FBI and Ghosts. They will return for Season 9 and Season 6, respectively.

This 16-show schedule leaves Watson and freshman comedy series DMV on the bubble. There is also no word on whether or where the FBI universe’s CIA or the Yellowstone spinoff, Marshals, fits in this.
