Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 10 Review: Frost on Fire
Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 10, “Frost on Fire,” presents some interesting medical cases, such as the pregnant woman who became pregnant four weeks after an embryo transfer with her biological baby. Nevertheless, what stands out the most on this episode is the relationships that continue to grow.
From Asher and Archer navigating their co-parenting journey to Frost dating someone from a different show, these doctors are staying busy, and it’s quite entertaining to watch them. While the patients are still a big part of the show, Chicago Med Season 11 has focused on giving us a deeper look into the lives of these doctors.

Even though it’s not the first time that the One Chicago franchise has explored a romantic relationship between characters from two different shows, it’s still captivating to watch the franchise navigate this. With Frost and Novak, the shows build a relationship that is fun to watch.
It’s been a few episodes since we last saw the two interact, but “Frost on Fire” brings them back together to cause some chaos. When Archer suspects that Novak may have given the patient the wrong dose, he leaves it to Frost to approach her and find out what happened.
This only leads to momentary tension between the two, which seems to quickly resolve during a night out on Chicago Fire Season 14 Episode 10, “Carry a Torch.” The chemistry between these two characters is palpable, and they bring a fun, young, and innovative dynamic to both shows that will definitely keep viewers entertained.
At work, we see a version of Frost that is thoughtful and dedicated. He has always put his patients’ feelings and emotions first, making sure they are cared for no matter the diagnosis.
Now, as we watch him explore a relationship with Novak, a fun, silly side of him shines through. A side that has always been kept under lock and key, maybe due to the circumstances of his past. Hopefully, Novak will continue to bring down Frost’s walls.

After Hannah’s father announces Archer is in love with her on Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 9, “Blindsided,” it seems she is doing everything in her power to remind Archer that they are just friends. However, this strong need to push him into the arms of another woman might backfire on her.
Asher’s facial expression when she watches Kingston approach Archer does not match her need to tell him to go out with the other doctor. His looking at her and telling her that he didn’t think about dating “in her condition” is only a reminder of how much love he has for her.
When Hannah says the words “two friends,” viewers can see in Archer’s face how that affects him. Even though he clearly understands that Asher isn’t on the same page (yet) about their relationship, it seems to hurt him to constantly be reminded of it. His initial rejection of Kingston’s invitation wasn’t solely because of Hannah’s feelings but because of his own.
There seems to be an underlying struggle in which Archer is trying to accept his own feelings for Asher while respecting her own. But after Frost gives him indirect advice on what to do, we see him go off into the night with Kingston.
Whatever happens next, viewers may get the sense that Hannah will regret how she encouraged him to date someone else. As for Archer, we doubt he’ll have any sincere feelings for Kingston when he’s been loving Hannah secretly for so long.

Lenox’s return to the ED brings a nice little joking moment between her and Archer. It’s quite nice to see the way in which their relationship has evolved from sworn enemies to friends. There is still an understanding between the two of them that would make for a great conversation about Archer’s feelings for Ashers if the show ever decided to go that way.
But what stands out the most from Lenox’s return is her newfound connection to Ripley. It’s obvious that something changed in their relationship after they were held hostage and watched a wife kill her husband. But how many viewers truly expected them to end up having sex in a closet?
This turn goes hand in hand with Lenox’s new behavior and approach to life. Ever since her diagnosis, she has been acting on impulse rather than on thought, and this seems to be another example of that. Given everything we have seen of her this season, we know she won’t regret this, but how will it affect Ripley?
It’ll be interesting and entertaining to see where these two go next.

Chicago Med has done a great job of introducing new characters throughout the seasons, and that’s the case once again with Tamika. After Bert’s death, when she consoled Goodwin, there seemed to be a nod to her returning.
After her appearance on Chicago Med Season 11 Episode 10, “Frost on Fire,” we hope she returns because she brings a different kind of joy and positivity to the ED.
