What to Expect from Doc Season 2 Episode 9: Kaddish
It’s the Doc midseason finale, and a lot is going down on Doc Season 2 Episode 9, “Kaddish.”
First, there is more escalation on the Hannah and Charlie front. On Doc Season 2 Episode 8, “He Loved You,” we saw the first cracks between Danny and Hannah.
Hannah had a moment of doubt when she learned about Danny’s death. Charlie was easily able to convince her not to be moved by that, but it’s a sign that Hannah isn’t as ruthless as Charlie.
At the end of the episode, they had discovered a voice recording that they believed could blow up all of Amy’s relationships. Both siblings appear completely on board with using the recording at the end of “He Loved You,” but something changes on “Kaddish.”
The promo for “Kaddish” shows Hannah and Charlie at odds as she frets about things being out of control, while he uses AI to manipulate the recording for some nefarious purpose.
The good news is that the promo also shows Amy starting to realize that someone is out to get her. The big question is, will it be in time to stop the fallout from whatever Hannah and Charlie do with that mysterious recording?
Elsewhere in the episode, the Westside staff attends Jake’s father’s funeral. Between the loss of his dad and the emotional bond he shares with Amy, Jake rethinks his decision to step away from their relationship.
Is the Jake/Amy ship about to set sail again, heading into the season’s winter hiatus?
