What to Expect from Doc Season 2 Episode 13: Fare Well
The competition for Chief Resident heats up on Doc Season 2 Episode 13, “Fare Well.”
With Hannah and Charlie exposed, and the truth about what happened between Amy and Doctor Clark out, Westside is moving its focus to other matters. Specifically, it’s time to focus on the race for Chief Resident, and the two top candidates are Amy and Sonya.
That also means from a character perspective, it’s time to refocus on the very frayed relationship between Amy and Sonya.
At the end of Doc Season 2 Episode 12, “Family Matters,” we saw a little glimmer of hope that the two might be able to mend fences.
Sonya didn’t take the opportunity to throw Amy under the bus when she spoke with hospital administrators about the hack, which was really about finding a way to blame Amy for it.
For her part, at the very end of the episode, Amy made what seemed like the start of an apology for calling Sonya an inferior doctor. Sonya didn’t outright accept her olive branch, but the words definitely resonated.
Even on the promo for “Fare Well,” it looks like the competition for Chief Resident starts out pretty cordial. The promo may just be concealing some big blow-up between the two doctors. Given how competitive both Amy and Sonya can be, that wouldn’t be surprising.
Still, for now, there is some hope that the two might find a way, if not to be friends, at least develop a better working relationship.
