Nobody Wants This Season 2 Episode 7-10 Review: When You Know, You Know/A Better Rabbi/Crossroads/When Noah Met Joanne
If it doesn’t move you, was it worth the ride? That’s the question one must ask after watching Nobody Wants This Season 2 final four episodes. Nobody Wants This Season 2 Episode 7, “When You Know, You Know, Nobody Wants This Season 2 Episode 8, “A Better Rabbi,” Nobody Wants This Season 2 Episode 9, “Crossroads,” and Nobody Wants This Season 2 Episode 10, “When Noah Met Joanne,” explore whether Joanne and Noah can overcome their issues.
Spoiler alert: they can.
“When Noah Met Joanne feels especially familiar as it seems quite similar to the Season 1 finale. However, this time, Joanne picks Judaism — so it seems.

Last season, Joanne tried to let Noah go for the good of his future. Then he picks her over his career. This time, they decide they cannot work as a couple in their current state.
It seems like Nobody Wants This may take the breakup route for them because they’re confident about another season. However, no, actually, they have another big romantic run to each other moment.
We’re left to assume that they will make it work. It also appears that Joanne’s possible Season 3 journey may focus on her trying to convert to Judaism.
Nobody Wants This has done a really good job of introducing non-Jewish audiences to some of the traditions and culture. It’s been a very informative series. One that we hope continues to teach the audience as well as entertain.
“When Noah Met Joanne” is an all right episode, but it doesn’t feel like much more than a repeat of last season’s finale.

Whereas you may have cheered for Noah and Joanne’s big gesture in Season 1, you may not even flinch at their moment this time.
Nothing about the Season 2 finale feels unexpected. You know that Morgan will not marry Andy, and you know Sasha and Esther are headed for a separation.
You know, but you don’t care that much.
Nobody Wants This didn’t do enough to build up Andy for us to care when Morgan finally dumps him. However, Morgan has an empowering moment that feels earned.
That’s the best part of this Dr. Andy storyline. It gives Morgan the confidence to fight for her wants and needs.

It also produces two endearing moments: Joanne admitting she regrets not stopping Morgan’s first marriage, and Lynn giving Morgan the encouragement she needs to leave Andy.
These endearing moments make you appreciate Joanne and her family. They’re quirky but care for each other deeply.
Season 2 seemed to boost Joanne’s family.
Nobody Wants This is an overall charming show that works because of the chemistry between the leads. Therefore, you don’t really care about the storyline as much as you enjoy seeing Joanne and Noah’s relationship’s growth.
Nevertheless, the series possesses enough charm to be a really great long-running romantic comedy series. Season 1 showed a lot of promise, but Season 2 feels like it worked better as a single-season show.

The characters are interesting, but the stories may just not match the potential.
Nobody Wants This will likely be renewed for a third season. Despite Season 2 not living up to expectations, we would gladly tune into another season.
It can only grow from here…right?
