Outlander: Blood of my Blood Season 1 Episode 9 Preview: Braemar

All the major players gather at Braemar Castle just in time for the season’s penultimate episode.

On Outlander: Blood of my Blood Season 1 Episode 9, “Braemar,” the Earl of Mar invites all the clans to his annual hunting event, where he intends to deliver a speech on the brewing tensions between the British Crown and the Scottish faithful.

Yet, the Earl isn’t the most notable VIP in attendance.

What Happened on the Previous Episode?

Previously on Outlander: Blood of my Blood, Ellen was called upon by the Grants to prove her virgin status before marrying Malcolm by undergoing a series of intense purity tests. Brian enlists the help of Julia to save Ellen, and they travel to the MacKenzie castle together.

Once there, Julia delivers a concoction to Ellen that will help her pass the physical exam, and comes face-to-face with her husband, Henry. The couple promises to find each other again, and Henry returns to the Grants in time to learn that Isaac Grant has died.
