Fallout Season 2 Teaser Trailer Highlights Caesar’s Legion, Dangerous Deathclaws, and Fan-Favorite Character’s Return
Lucy, Maximus, and the Ghoul will face their biggest fears at the one place that every Fallout fan has been waiting to see: New Vegas.
At Gamescom 2025, Prime Video unveiled the teaser trailer for Fallout Season 2. Furthermore, it was revealed that the season will premiere on Wednesday, December 17, with a weekly release of eight episodes.
While Monday’s first look gave Fallout fans a tease into the pre-War reality of New Vegas as well as Lucy and the Ghoul’s venture out to the Mojave, this teaser trailer provides much more. It highlights some important elements that will come into play, like the Brotherhood of Steel’s return.

The Fallout trailer opens up with someone asking the Ghoul, aka Cooper Howard, and Lucy what or who they’re looking for. During their journey, Lucy ponders why her father, Hank, would want to go to Las Vegas, unknowing of what happened to Sin City following the Sino-American War.
The trailer shows New Vegas before Vault-Tec initiated their plans, with Mr. House surveilling atop the Lucky 38 casino. Justin Theroux takes up the role of Robert House, who previously made a cameo in Season 1.
Mr. House warns Cooper that he’s anticipated Vault-Tec’s actions, as mentioned in the game, Fallout: New Vegas. It looks like Cooper is confronting Mr. House due to the involvement of his wife, Barb, and their daughter. Yet, Cooper puts on a show for the Vault-Tec employees, as seen when he’s riding a “missile” bull.
As for other groups in the New Vegas region, the trailer sees the return of Caesar’s Legion, who seem to capture Lucy. In Fallout: New Vegas, Caesar’s Legion was a dictatorship that enslaved lesser tribes in the Mojave. In the game, it was founded by Edward ‘Caesar’ Sallow and another fan-favorite companion, Joshua Graham.

Considering that Caesar himself also appears in the trailer, it’s possible that the Courier allowed him to live, but did not allow him and his forces to take over the Strip. As such, it might’ve led to Caesar’s Legion brutally expanding wherever they can, thus forcing the Brotherhood of Steel to take their territory back.
The trailer also showcases Hank discovering a large Vault-Tec headquarters that looks like a silo, more hijinks within the three connected Vaults, and the ravenous Deathclaws, near-invincible creatures.
Fallout stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner. It is produced by Kilter Films, with executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickham. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, creators, and showrunners.
Todd Howard, Bethesda Game Studios, executive produces along with James Altman for Bethesda Softworks. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films produce in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.
