What to Expect from The Rookie Season 7 Episode 13: Three Billboards
The team will work together in more ways than one on The Rookie Season 7 Episode 13, “Three Billboards.”
On the one hand, the characters will team up to search for the person has been putting up anti-LAPD billboards throughout the city. The photos and the promo video for “Three Billboards” don’t reveal much about that storyline.
Instead, The Rookie‘s promo video focuses more on John and Bailey assessing their ability to adopt. While it’s challenging to know their context, the photos tease that Angela, Wesley, Tim, and Lucy will be by John’s side.
The promo video shows John telling a social worker, “You’ve placed children with first responders. We all got stories.” In something other than a vote of confidence, the social worker replies, “Yours are in another stratosphere.”
The footage from the episode also supports the social worker’s comments (“It would be quicker to talk about the work days when you didn’t almost die.”) with a clip of Lucy and John coming in as Celina’s backup.
“Three Billboards” will feature Celina’s first solo ride, but it won’t go as planned when a suspect evades her and throws a grenade. It’s unclear if that suspect is the car bomber mentioned in the episode’s description.
Meanwhile, Miles will reconnect with an old friend. Needless to say, The Rookie has a lot to juggle when “Three Billboards” airs on Tuesday, April 8.
