The promotional materials for this episode take two starkly different tones.
NCIS: Sydney‘s promo video is more light-hearted. Mackey’s search for answers about an American sailor — perhaps the same petty officer that is found murdered and frozen — leads her to a club. It appears that JD and Evie joke with Mackey about her dancing abilities, but DeShawn knows, “Boss don’t dance.”

It seems to be shaping into one of NCIS: Sydney Season 2’s serialized stories.
Either way, the episode’s description insinuates “Shucked” will be much heavier than the promo video suggests. How could it not be if the team finds themselves amid a seafood and sex trafficking system?
It’s unclear how that underworld connects to the petty officer’s murder, but that’s for the NCIS: Sydney team to discover when “Shucked” airs on Friday, March 7.
