Preview — Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 2: Martin Sheen and Ally Sheedy Guest Star
Ellis and Max’s partnership gets a new meaning during a Wild West adventure on Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 2, “Once a Con a Time in the West.”
They saddle up (on a horse) and get down (on the dance floor) when their latest case takes them to a family-owned ranch. Knowing that this show loves a theme, “Once a Con a Time in the West” could wind up giving Yellowstone vibes.
Wild Cards will follow its dynamic duo as they try to uncover who attempted to murder Paul, the family’s stud horse. In the process, it appears they will also uncover a dark family secret on their way to “good ole’ country justice.”

The promo video teases that Ally Sheedy is a part of said family.
That character makes sense because, as previously reported, Sheedy was announced to be playing Rose Pruett, “a tough, no-nonsense ranch owner.”
Meanwhile, “Once a Con a Time in the West” will also introduce Martin Sheen’s recurring role as Joseph Edwards, “the greatest conman of all time, who has a connection to Max and George.” Perhaps his arrival on Wild Cards has something to do with George telling Max, “You’ve gone soft, honey,” in the promo video.
All that and likely more awaits Max and Ellis when Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 2, “Once a Con a Time in the West,” airs on Wednesday, February 15, on The CW.
