Wild Cards Season 3 Episode 1 Preview: Rack ‘Em Up
Max and Ellis are back in an undercover operation, and a major twist stuns Max on Wild Cards Season 3 Episode 1, “Rack ‘Em Up.”
The season premiere introduces Bones‘s Tamara Taylor as Vivienne, Max’s mom, whom Max has believed to be dead since she was a teenager.
It will be interesting to see if and how “Rack ‘Em Up” explains Vivenne’s decision to let her daughter and husband think that. The season’s trailer shows Vivienne say, “Everything I’ve done has been for my husband and daughter.”
The episode’s description suggests Vivienne will tell her family about a “vengeful crime lord in pursuit of her, which puts them all in the crosshairs.” Sounds intense!
The Wild Cards Season 3 premiere guest stars Jason Priestley as Max’s dad and Vivienne’s husband, George. Here’s hoping the episode shows George’s reaction to all of this, too. Maybe that’s where his saying, “She lied to us,” in the trailer comes into the mix.
“Rack ‘Em Up” will certainly show Max and Ellis back in their element as a dynamic duo in the field as they “go undercover to catch a pool shark’s killer.”
That context means there’s a high likelihood that Max says, “Never hustle a hustler,” as seen in the trailer, in this episode. Needless to say, there’s plenty to anticipate when Wild Cards returns with its third season.
