Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 6 Review: Forget Me Not
If Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 6, “Forget Me Not,” is the resolution to Goodwin’s death threat, this is one of the most disappointing storylines we have seen on the show. While it was to be expected for the perpetrator to be someone she recently fired, most viewers didn’t expect it to end the way it did.
With the tension created on Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 5, “Bad Habits,” after the stalker broke into her house, more was expected for its resolution. Seeing Kevin Atwater show up at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center makes us believe something big will happen.
However, Goodwin is only informed who sent the death threat and is kept in a security room throughout the episode. We don’t see her again until the security guard tells her the man took his own life. Is this really how the loose ends get tied for a storyline that was so promising?
With everything introduced in previous episodes, there was so much potential for this to be the plot of the season. The show definitely drops the ball this episode, making us wonder what it was all for. The death threat now seems irrelevant and pointless in the big picture.
Could This Be Lenox’s Goodbye?

From the moment she was introduced at the beginning of the season, it became clear that Lenox and Archer would butt heads until the end of time. Could this be the end of time?
While we see Archer fighting for the patient’s well-being, trying to keep him alive until his parents arrive, we witness Lenox go from absolutely hating disciplinary camps and finding what they do disgusting to using this to her advantage. The moment she finds out the counselor has the legal power to approve the surgery, she switches sides and uses this to get her way.
This is another way to see Lenox’s true colors. Even though she seems to care about patients and delivering the best care possible, she is unable to think outside the box. The surgery is the conventional answer, so she goes with it and pushes for it to be the only answer.
However, this time, it backfires, and she loses the patient on the table. While she could defend Asher’s patient loss by pointing out that Hannah did everything she could, can she say the same about herself?
Archer presents the alternative, and she rejects it, but now she has to face the consequences. Truthfully, these two characters can no longer co-exist in the ED, and it is time for one of them to go.
As much as I would love to see a woman run the ED, Lenox has only proven she isn’t ready for the title. She can suggest changes for everyone’s benefit, but she cannot deviate from her original plan in times of need, which the ED cannot afford.

Aside from continuing to explore the dispute between Archer and Lenox, the case helps bring awareness to the cruel reality of disciplinary camps and what they do to teenagers. Not only does Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 6, “Forget Me Not,” explore what it does to them physically, but also mentally.
Once more, we have an episode in which mental health is prioritized. Truthfully, the show has always found a way to explore mental health cases every episode. Even when we don’t like the approach, they don’t back away from showing how equally important mental health is.
This time, Charles explores a different method to help the patient recover his memory. It is yet another great way to showcase how vital it is for doctors to be open to understanding that not everything is physical.
Cody’s CT doesn’t show any reason for him to have memory loss, but the trauma pushes him to erase who he is.
Maggie Talks From Experience

Maggie has always been the character people on and off screen can connect to. With a few exceptions, she has always been understanding and has lent a shoulder to cry on to everyone who needed it.
By introducing Sylvie’s storyline, the show gives us another look at Maggie’s empathy. She can connect with the teenage girl because she once was in the same situation. However, she can also connect with the mother because she knows both sides of the story.
Even though Vanessa has been gone for a while, it is good to see that the show hasn’t forgotten that part of Maggie’s storyline. This plotline brings together every piece of Maggie’s being, delivering a well-rounded character.
When Goodwin introduced the idea of a mobile outreach clinic, many viewers believed the focus would be on Hannah. However, finally bringing the clinic to life outside the hospital with Maggie as the main character is the perfect way to start this story. Her past is the kind of woman this new program is trying to help.
Hopefully, we will see more of the mobile outreach clinic and these stories that portray women’s reality.
