Could it possibly be that Chicago Fire Season 14 Episode 9, “Crime of Passion,” kills off a very prominent character? With Tom Van Meter still unconscious and in the hospital, fans begin to wonder if this is the last they will see of  Tim Hopper on the show.

Whichever ending the show chooses for this character, the incident will completely alter the trajectory of Severide’s storyline. Now that he suspects a crime of passion and is determined to make the suspect pay for what they have done, nothing will be the same for him.
