After earning herself a banger theme song, Marvel returns to Westview three excruciating years later to check on wicked witch Agatha Harkness.
Stuck in the Scarlet Witch’s spell, Agatha is doomed to live out her days in the TV reruns she starred in during WandaVision. But when a mysterious goth teen (played by Joe Locke) breaks the spell, Agatha is free to pursue a spellbinding solo adventure in this spin-off — Agatha All Along!
However, her rescuer sprung the trapped villain with one catch: he wants Agatha to lead him down the legendary Witches’ Road, a trial that will grant any witch the one thing they are missing if they can survive the trip.
It’s a walk Agatha knows she can’t take alone. So she must assemble a ragtag coven of witches from all walks of life and get along with them long enough to walk the road successfully.
But Agatha is not the only witch hiding a dark agenda this time. She surrounds herself with potential enemies and unleashes a multiverse of witches that will go beyond Marvel to include bewitching characters from across pop culture.
This witchy brew of comedy and dark fantasy could be just the miniseries to start our spooky season off right.
At the least, it is an exciting opportunity to reunite with a beloved villain and an era of Marvel TV that few shows have been able to top since Wanda first took Westview hostage.
