‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Casts the Gray Sisters
The Sea of Monsters is already brewing for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 with some big news that recently came out of this year’s D23 Expo.
At the show’s panel on Saturday, stars Walker Scobell (Percy Jackson), Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth Chase), Aryan Simhadri (Grover Underwood), Charlie Bushnell (Luke Castellan), Dior Goodjohn (Clarisse La Rue) were joined by executive producers Dan Shotz, Jonathan E. Steinberg, and Craig Silverstein for one of the convention’s most-packed panels.
Of course, some fun special guests made appearances including Daniel Diemer (Tyson), Jason Mantzoukas (Mr. D/Dionysus), and Toby Stephens (Poseidon).

At the panel itself, it was announced that Charlie Bushnell and Dior Goodjohn would be made series regulars following their guest appearances throughout Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 1. Furthermore, Jason Mantzoukas will also be returning as the less-than-eccentric Camp Half-Blood director, Mr. D.
The panel’s biggest highlight was the announcement that the Gray Sisters, the wild trio in charge of a godly taxi firm, would be joining the cast for the second season. Sandra Bernhard, Margaret Cho, and Kristen Schaal have been cast as the trio.
Bernhard will portray Anger, the impatient Gray Sister in charge of collecting cab fare from heroes who call upon the taxi who really wants to use the Sisters’ only eye.

Meanwhile, Schaal will portray Tempest, who currently has the coveted eye shared between the sisters and uses it to peer at the Heroes, read their future, and tease them about their crushes and social lives.
Finally, Cho will portray Wasp, the main driver of the Gray Sisters Taxi, who has truly seen it all despite her own physical blindness.
Also during the panel, fans were informed that production on Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 is currently underway in Vancouver with a release date planned for next year.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 follows the events of the second book in the series, The Sea of Monsters. This season sees Percy returning to Camp Half-Blood a year later with new circumstances.
Not only is Percy’s relationship with Annabeth beginning to change, but he learns that his best friend Grover is missing, the camp is being under attack by Kronos’s forces, and his brother is a Cyclops. His adventure will take him far and wide throughout the feared Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon.
Disney+ also released a first look at Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 at D23, which featured Percy and Annabeth’s embellished chariot and a new look at an older and mature Percy taking the reigns.
