How to Watch ‘Elsbeth,’ the Next Spinoff of ‘The Good Wife’
15 years after the premiere of the CBS series The Good Wife comes the drama’s second spinoff, Elsbeth.
As the name suggests, Elsbeth centers on the character of Elsbeth Tascioni, played by Carrie Preston — a character who probably should have been given her own spinoff years ago.
The fan-favorite character, who also appeared on The Good Fight, is known for her eccentric behavior and quirky mannerisms. She’s also known for her brilliance and her unorthodox methods, both of which make her great at her job.

The premise for Elsbeth allows her character to shine in a new way and in a new location. Elsbeth has left her successful legal career in Chicago to tackle a new investigative role in New York City.
There, she utilizes her singular point of view to make unique observations and corner brilliant criminals alongside the NYPD.
While Elsbeth premiered on February 29th, with Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 1, viewers will have to wait until April for subsequent episodes. Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 2 will air on April 4th.
If you missed the pilot episode, fret not! There are several ways you can watch before the series returns.
