It’s a double dose of Quantum Leap. The series wraps its second season airing its final two episodes — Quantum Leap Season 2 Episode 12, “As the World Burns,” and Quantum Leap Season 2 Episode 13, “Against Time” — back to back.
On “As the World Burns,” Ben finds himself in the body of a Baltimore firefighter in 1974. There, he again crosses paths with Hannah and her son.

The middle of a fire isn’t the best place for family therapy. Nonetheless, that is what Ben is tasked with. Hannah’s relationship with her son has frayed since Ben last saw them. To save their lives, Ben must save their relationship.
On the season finale, “Against Time,” Ben leaps into the body of a stock car race driver. There are no clues about Ben’s mission in the preview material. All we know is a threat from the future is trying to sabotage it. The team must pull out all the stops to save the Quantum Leap project from this mysterious threat.
What viewers are likely most eager to find out is if this is the mission that finally gets Ben home. With the fate of a potential third season unknown, will viewers get the answer to that question? Or will Season 2 end on a big cliffhanger like Season 1 did?
