On Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 5, “On The Hook,” Brett could face the consequences of a serious mistake. What could this mean for Kara Killmer’s upcoming departure?

While she and Violet are on a call, their defibrillator malfunctions, leaving them searching for answers. If it’s human error, though, as Boden says in the promo video, then it’s Brett who’s on the hook for the mistake.
