The Bear Season 2 75th Emmys: Winners Include The Bear, Succession, and Beef

75th Emmys: Winners Include The Bear, Succession, and Beef

Abbott Elementary, Black Bird, EMMYS, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, RuPaul's Drag Race, Succession, The Bear, The White Lotus

Shows like Ted Lasso and Succession said goodbye to their time on screen at the 75th Emmy® Awards. While others like Abbott Elementary and The Bear celebrated their second seasons on TV.

Ayo Edebiri and Jeremy Allen White led the cast of The Bear with wins for their respective categories, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. The show also won Oustanding Writing and Directing for Comedy.

One of the highlights of the night was the many reunions from different TV shows we got to see onscreen. From Cheers and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia to Grey’s Anatomy, bringing back Justin Chambers and Katherine Heigl.

Just like at the Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards, Beef took home the awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limisted Series or Movie and Oustanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie.

Although the speeches had to be short, they were definitely sweet. Some got emotional like Quinta Brunson, and others highlighted the LGBTQ+ community like RuPaul (“Listen to a drag queen”) and Jennifer Coolidge thanking the evil gays.
