The Gentlemen Teaser Trailer Released by Netflix
The Gentlemen, from Guy Ritchie and starring Theo James, is coming to Netflix later this year.
The action-drama series based on Guy Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name follows James as Eddie Horniman when he unexpectedly inherits “his father’s sizeable country estate – only to discover it’s part of a cannabis empire,” per its synopsis.
TV Line reports that The Gentlemen will debut on Netflix in March.

The teaser trailer for the upcoming series sees Giancarlo Esposito’s character describe the empire at the show’s center. “Do you know what I love about the British aristocracy? They’re the original gangsters,” Esposito’s character says.
What follows is guns, golf, helicopters, alcohol, and potentially dead bodies.
Esposito’s character defines it more specifically as “Refinement with aggression.”
“Moreover, a host of unsavory characters from Britain’s criminal underworld want a piece of the operation. Determined to extricate his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to play the gangsters at their own game. However, as he gets sucked into the world of criminality, he begins to find a taste for it,” per the synopsis.
