Love Is Blind Season 5 Trailer Released by Netflix
A new group of singles step into the pods to have a chance at finding love in the trailer for Love Is Blind Season 5.
A day after Netflix revealed the cast of Houston singles in the “Meet the Singles” announcement, the streaming service unveiled a first look at the new season.
With ten 1-hour episodes released over four weeks, Love Is Blind Season 5 kicks off with the first four episodes on Friday, September 22, on Netflix.
Love Is Blind Episodes 5-7 will stream on Friday, September 29, with Episodes 8-9 dropping on Week 3 on Friday, October 6. The Love Is Blind season finale will stream on Friday, October 13.
With hosts Vanessa and Nick Lachey returning for the season set in Houston, Texas, Netflix dubs the reality show’s upcoming season “the most shocking season yet.”
The 28 “singles singles face new challenges, unexpected twists, and surprising turns that will test their personal resolve, and the strength of their connections, more than ever before,” per Love Is Blind Season 5’s synopsis.
“Even if the couples can forge a strong enough bond to get engaged sight unseen, can their love survive the challenges waiting for them in the outside world — including protective families, skeptical friends, and the exes they thought they’d left behind?”
The two-minute trailer sees the singles break down walls and build new ones as connections forge and fall.
The singles discuss everything from the ethics of age-gap relationships to old flames crossing paths — perhaps on purpose. Of course, Love Is Blind‘s trailer also teases a few proposals and love confessions.
Chris Coelen is the creator of Love Is Blind. Coelen executive produces alongside Ally Simpson, Eric Detwiler, Kimberly Goodman, and Brian Smith. Smith also directs the reality show.
