Suspicion Canceled After One Season by Apple TV+
The Uma Thurman-led dramatic thriller Suspicion will not return for a second season on Apple TV+.
Deadline exclusively reported that the streaming service canceled the series after one season, and the outlet shared that Apple TV+ declined to comment about the show’s cancellation. TV Line also reports that Apple TV+ declined to comment.
Based on the award-winning series False Flag and produced out of the UK by Keshet Productions, Keshet International’s UK production arm, Suspicion acquired a Season 1 premiere date in December 2021. Suspicion Season 1 Episodes 1 and 2, “Persons of Interest / Room for Doubt,” debuted in February 2021.

BAFTA Award nominee Rob Williams served as showrunner and executive producer on Suspicion‘s eight-episode first — and now final — season.
Thurman starred as Katherine Newman, a prominent American businesswoman whose son is kidnapped from a New York hotel. In turn, suspicion arose around four British citizens who were at the same hotel on the night of the kidnapping.
“As they find themselves in a trans-Atlantic cat and mouse race to evade the combined forces of the National Crime Agency and the FBI to prove their innocence, it becomes apparent that not everyone can be trusted,” the show’s synopsis detailed.
According to Deadline, Suspicion “was quietly canceled around a year ago” and “was one of the highest profile to have come out of Apple’s UK office alongside the likes of Slow Horses and Bad Sisters.”

Apple TV+ ushered in the Season 2 of The Afterparty in July and renewed Silo for Season 2 in June but announced the cancelations of The Mosquito Coast after two seasons in January, per Deadline, and High Desert after one season in July, per Variety.
Suspicion Season 1 Episode 8, “Unmasked,” now serves as the show’s series finale. It started streaming on Apple TV+ in March.
Alongside Thurman, Suspicion starred Kunal Nayyar, Noah Emmerich, Georgina Campbell, Elyes Gabel, Elizabeth Henstridge, Tom Rhys-Harries, and Angel Coulby.
Chris Long, who also directs the show, Howard Burch for Keshet Productions, Avi Nir for Keshet Media Group, and Anna Winger are also executive producers on Suspicion. Darin McLeo produces.
