New Date Announced for the 75th Annual Emmy Awards
We have a new date for the 75th Primetime Emmy® Awards, and it’s not until 2024.
The Television Academy and FOX today jointly announced that the telecast of the 75th Emmy Awards will air on Monday, January 15, 2024 (8:00-11:00 PM EST/5:00-8:00 PM PST) on FOX.
Originally, the ceremony was scheduled to take place on September 18th, but that date was delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
The location remains the same. As the Emmy Awards celebrates its 75th Anniversary, the show will broadcast Live coast-to-coast from the Peacock Theater at LA Live.

Meanwhile, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place at the Peacock Theater at LA Live over two consecutive nights on Saturday, January 6, and Sunday, January 7, 2024. An edited presentation will be aired Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 8:00 PM EST/PST on FXX.
Originally, the Creative Arts Emmy Awards were scheduled to take place over two consecutive nights on Saturday, September 9, and Sunday, September 10, with an edited presentation airing on Saturday, September 16.
The Nominees:
Among this year’s nominees are Succession, The Last of Us, The White Lotus, and Ted Lasso.
Succession holds this year’s top spot with 27 Emmy nominations followed by The Last of Us with 24, The White Lotus with 23, and Ted Lasso with 21.

Other nominees include Abbott Elementary, Barry, The Bear, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Only Murders in the Building, Better Call Saul, The Crown, House of the Dragon. Yellowjackets, BEEF, Daisy Jones & the Six, Fleishman Is In Trouble, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Fire Island, Bob’s Burgers, and The Simpsons, among others.
