Alexa Davalos Not Returning for ‘FBI: Most Wanted’ Season 5

News

The Fugitive Task Force will be down one member when FBI: Most Wanted returns with Season 5 on CBS.

Alexa Davalos, who portrayed Special Agent Kristin Gaines, is not returning for the procedural drama’s upcoming fifth season. FBI: Most Wanted  follows “an elite unit that relentlessly pursues and captures the notorious criminals on the Bureau’s Most Wanted list.”

Deadline exclusively reported the news about Davalos’ departure, reporting that “the exit may have come as a surprise to many on the show, too, including possibly Davalos.”

Though describing her exit as “amicable,” Deadline shares that Davalos was told the news “by a producer on set that she won’t be coming back after filming her last scene from Season 4 several months ago.” TV Line reports Davalos’ exit as one of many casting shake-ups on FBI: Most Wanted.

Julian McMahon, Kellan Lutz, and Miguel Gomez left the drama during Season 3.

Davalos was also present in the first three-show crossover between FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, and FBI: International that aired in August on CBS.

There is no confirmation of how the FBI spinoff series, which debuted in 2020, will address Davalos’ exit when it returns for Season 5, which is slated as a part of the network’s 2023/2024 programming.
