Secret Invasion marks the return of Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, former Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the man once responsible for assembling The Avengers.
But the Fury we knew has endured a lot, including The Blip, and after hiding away on a spacecraft for years, his homecoming is met with mixed reactions.
However, the former director has his sights set on a rogue faction of shapeshifting Skrulls that have decided to take Earth by force. Fury will embark on a global espionage mission to stop the alien race he swore to protect with the help of his trusted partner Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and Skrull ally Talos (Ben Mendelsohn).
A thrilling exploration into the darker corners of the MCU Fury has hidden from us; Secret Invasion promises to be much more grounded and serious than its other Disney+ series counterparts.
The show’s biggest selling feature? A star-studded cast and a shapeshifting element that makes trusting anyone a difficult task.
The series will also feature notable appearances from Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Dermot Mulroney, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle.

Season description: Set in the present-day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill, and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.
