‘The Bear’ Serves Up Season 2 Premiere Date
A premiere date for Season 2 of The Bear? Um yes, Chef!
It is confirmed FX’s world-renown cooking dramedy will return on June 22 with ten new episodes available to stream on Hulu come release day.
The series follows Jeremy Allen White’s Carmy, a classically trained chef who attempts to corral the dysfunctional restaurant family he inherits when his brother passes away. The reluctant team of cooks will band together to turn their Chicago sandwich shop into a culinary institution.

The official description for Season 2, according to TVLine, will follow Carmy, Ayo Edebiri’s Sydney, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s Richie as they “work to transform their grimy sandwich joint into a next-level spot.”
“As they strip the restaurant down to its bones, the crew undertakes transformational journeys of their own, each forced to confront the past and reckon with who they want to be in the future.”
The Bear‘s next business venture will “juggle the insane bureaucracy of permits and contractors with the beauty and creative agony of menu planning” as the series undergoes extensive renovations to transform Michael’s old dive, The Beef.
The new season will also play host to several new characters. Better Call Saul‘s Bob Odenkirk is set to guest star on the series, and Molly Gordon will join Season 2 in a key recurring role.

The series released an official poster to accompany the Season 2 announcement, teasing what’s to come for our ragtag chefs.
During the 95th Academy Awards, The Bear also gave fans a sneak peek at the new season with a short teaser trailer that showcased the kitchen staff as they emptied the restaurant and prepared to relaunch their brand to the hungry people of Chicago.
FX captioned the trailer with the tagline, “It’s not a reopening, it’s a rebirth,” reiterating this extended season run will focus primarily on the new restaurant’s opening.
Knowing The Bear, this series has a delicious meal planned for us.
