To All The Boys Spinoff Series ‘XO, Kitty’ First Look and Premiere Date Released by Netflix
Kitty Song Covey makes a case for her trip to Korea in the first clip from Netflix’s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before spinoff series, XO, Kitty.
Anna Cathcart returns as the “teen matchmaker,” who “thinks she knows everything there is to know about love.” But, per the series’ logline, “when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.”
As TV Line reports, XO, Kitty‘s 10-episode first season starts streaming on Thursday, May 18, on Netflix. Cathcart returns alongside To All The Boys‘ John Corbett as Dan Covey and Sarayu Blue as Trina.

XO, Kitty‘s first clip shows Kitty presenting her idea to follow in her mom’s footsteps at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS!) Kitty even got accepted into the school on the same scholarship as her mom.
The boarding school is also where her crush Dae, played by Minyeong Choi, attends. Kitty met Dae during a family trip to Korea.
As previously reported, XO, Kitty also stars Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Peter Thurnwald as Alex, with Yunjin Kim as Jina, Michael K Lee as Professor Lee, Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison, and Regan Aliyah as Juliana.
XO, Kitty‘s creator Jenny Han, is a co-showrunner and executive producer with Sascha Rothchild. Deadline reports that Han co-wrote the pilot script with Siobhan Vivan.

“XO, Kitty takes place in the same universe as To All the Boys, but it’s very much its own world. So fresh audiences can love it and then go back and watch the movies and read the books if they want,” Rothchild told Netflix’s TUDUM.
The XO, Kitty news comes a day after Lara Jean Covey fittingly passed the To All The Boys‘ Instagram account to her little sister as she embarks on her own love story.
As previously reported in April of last year, XO, Kitty also stars Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Peter Thurnwald as Alex, with Yunjin Kim as Jina, Michael K Lee as Professor Lee, Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison, and Regan Aliyah as Juliana.
The half-hour YA rom-com series comes from Awesomeness Studios, and Matt Kaplan executive produces with ACE Entertainment. Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky, and Katina Medina Mora serve as directors.
