Another One Chicago favorite is hitting a major milestone! Chicago P.D. marks its milestone 200th episode this Wednesday with Chicago P.D. Season 10 Episode 14, “Trapped.”

To celebrate the occasion, the cast and crew gathered on set to enjoy a fun cast-inspired cake, complete with the show’s regular cast. Cast members Marina Squerciati, LaRoyce Hawkins, Jason Beghe, Tracy Spiridakos, Patrick John Flueger, and Amy Morton all took part.

Cast members also shared what it means to make it to 200 episodes and what makes One Chicago so special.

“I’m so excited for everybody,” said Tracy Spiridakos. “For me, I only joined at the end of Season 4. So I’m just happy to be here with everybody and be a part of this journey. It’s pretty incredible.”

“200 episodes, first of all, is something be proud of and extremely grateful for,” said LaRoyce Hawkins. “From what I understand, there’s a very short list of television shows that have been blessed to reach 200 episodes or more. So to be a part of that, especially now, since TV isn’t made the same way it used to be made. Now it’s a lot more difficult, I think, to get those kinds of numbers. So I’m just extremely proud to be a part of this team, and extremely grateful.”

“One of the things that makes this fun and engaging, and probably successful, is that people tend to show up when they come here. And you’re safe,” said Jason Beghe.

“People use the metaphor of a family, but maybe more appropriate is an organism, which is a bunch of living things creating a unique, new living thing,” Beghe continued. “It’s a group effort.”

The milestone 200th episode promises plenty of drama and suspense with a Burgess and Ruzek-centered storyline.

Episode description for Chicago P.D. Season 10 Episode 14:

After a brutal shooting, Burgess and Ruzek find themselves trapped aboard the busy “L” subway; as they piece together scant evidence, the team is drawn into a dark family drama; Burgess’ proximity to the shooting triggers harsh memories.
