What to Watch on TV: Quantum Leap, The Ark, and Dear Edward

Welcome to a new week and another round of What to Watch on TV for the week of January 29th! This week some highly anticipated returns, a couple of big episodes, and exciting premieres.

This week we feature Quantum Leap, The Ark, Dear Edward, and many more!

Fire Country – Sunday, January 29th

Bode and his family of prison inmate firefighters band together with the station 42 crew to battle a huge blaze after a plane crash. On the plus side, both crews welcome a new family member. Fire Country airs Sunday, January 29th at 10/9c on CBS.

The Watchful Eye – Monday, January 30th

This new Freeform series centers on Elena Santos, a live-in nanny for an affluent NYC family. She soon learns that everyone in the building has secrets and ulterior motives — much like herself. The Watchful Eye premieres with two episodes on Monday, January 30th at 9/8c on Freeform.

Quantum Leap – Monday, January 30th

Ben must figure out who is setting off bombs at a 1962 nuclear reactor. Quantum Leap airs Monday, January 30th at 10/9c on NBC.

Episode Description: When Ben leaps into one of five people in an elevator at a 1962 nuclear reactor, he must figure which one will trigger a bomb that kills them all; each time the bomb goes off, he leaps into another one of them an hour earlier, resetting the scene.

La Brea – Tuesday, January 31st

Season 2 returns with the Harrises traveling back to 10,000 B.C. in order to upload a virus that will stop sinkholes, even if it means they can’t go home again. La Brea airs Tuesday, January 31st at 9/8c on NBC.

Episode Description: The Harrises return to 10,000 B.C., determined to upload a virus that will stop all sinkholes, despite knowing that this will mean they will never get home again; an unlikely leader rallies the clearing to face an oncoming prehistoric threat.

The Winchesters – Tuesday, January 31st

Carlos spearheads an investigation to determine why vampires are appearing in Lawrence. The Winchesters airs Tuesday, January 31st at 9/8c on The CW.

The Ark – Wednesday, February 1st

The spaceship Ark One is on a mission to secure the survival of all humankind when they are met with disaster. The Ark premieres Wednesday, February 1st at 10/9c on SyFy.

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder – Wednesday, February 1st

The Proud family is back for more adventures as each member of the family follows their dreams. The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder airs Wednesday, February 1st on Disney+.

Freeridge – Thursday, February 2nd

A group of four teens — Gloria, Ines, Demi, and Cameron — unwittingly unleash a curse on their lives. Dark misfortune ensues, causing the group to look for answers. Freeridge premieres Thursday, February 2nd on Netflix.

CSI: Vegas – Thursday, February 2nd

Dear Edward – Friday, February 3rd

Sweeter Than Chocolate – Saturday, February 4th

Based on the book of the same name by Lizzie Shane, this sweet rom-com follows a local chocolatier who has a formula for love. This brings a TV reporter to his place of business to investigate. Sweeter Than Chocolate airs Saturday, February 4th at 8/7c on Hallmark.

Movie Description: A local chocolatier is rumored to have the secret recipe to finding true love on February 14th, drawing in a TV reporter to investigate.
