Quantum Leap takes on a classic sci-fi trope on Quantum Leap Season 1 Episode 11, “Leap.Die.Repeat.”
On “Leap.Die.Repeat,” Ben finally finds himself in his element when he leaps into one of five people about to partake in the test of a brand new nuclear reactor. This is no ordinary leap, though.

Ben and the team soon discover that Ben is in a time loop that lands him in a new body every time a deadly explosion resets the timeline. To complete his mission for this leap and break the loop, Ben must figure out how to stop the explosion and save everyone’s life.
Time loop stories are always entertaining, and having Ben leap into a new body with each reset is a fun twist on a tried-and-true trope. It is also an excellent way for the show to mix up the format and keep things from getting repetitive.
Plus, it doesn’t get much more high stakes than an explosion at a nuclear reactor, so viewers can also expect a pretty exciting episode.
