Succession Season 4 Premiere Date and Teaser Trailer Released by HBO
The highly-charged, Emmy-winning drama, Succession is back for another season.
HBO announced that Season 4 will hit the small screen on Sunday, March 26 at 9/8c on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max.
The new season moves the sale of Waystar Royco to tech hotshot, Lukas Matsson (played by the Season 3 guest star Alexander Skarsgård), ever closer.

Succession‘s Season 3 finale raises the question of where the Roy siblings will go from the biggest twist they never saw coming — a betrayal from their mother.
Having not been successful at taking their father down, Shiv, Roman, and Kendall have quite a few pieces to pick up if they wish to stay in the running for Waystar Royco.
Per Season 4’s logline, “The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.”
The new footage teases the fallout between Tom and Shiv after Tom alerted Logan about the siblings’ plan.

Additionally, it shows glimpses of what could be a wedding between Connor and Willa Ferreyra. Could this new relationship status affect Connor’s chances of making it to the White House?
All of this family drama could take a back seat to the ever-growing concern that the American public doesn’t actually need the Roy family’s political reach in the current climate, which could ignite the fall of the media conglomerate family’s empire.
The ten-episode Succession season will also boast an array of returning and new cast members. Annabeth Gish, Adam Godley, Eili Harboe, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson are newly announced to appear in Season 4.
Meanwhile, Harriet Walter, James Cromwell, Natalie Gold, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Ashley Zukerman, Larry Pine, Mark-Linn Baker, and Pip Torrens are newly announced returning cast members.

Succession‘s previously announced cast for Season 4 includes Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, J. Smith-Cameron, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Justine Lupe, Dagmara Domińczyk, Arian Moayed, Scott Nicholson, Zoë Winters, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Juliana Canfield, and Jeannie Berlin.
The additional cast also includes Skarsgård, Cherry Jones, Hope Davis, Justin Kirk, and Stephen Root.
In 2022, Succession won three awards at the 74th Emmy® Awards — Best Drama, Best Writing, and Best Supporting Actor for Matthew Macfadyen. This brings the show’s total up to 13 wins total over the course of its run.
