Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 7, ‘The Clothes Make the Man…Or Do They?” promises to unlock more of Dean Archer’s backstory. 

The story of Dean and his son was introduced earlier this season. It seems that this is finally the moment that the show will be digging deeper in what is sure to be a complex relationship.

As the show has delved further into Dean’s character, it’s been clear that he is so much more than the crusty exterior he presents. Will Dean finally open up and be vulnerable when faced with a family crisis?

As Dean continues to struggle with the physical ramifications of his injury, a personal health crisis can only make everything worse. His team will have to rally around him like never before to see him through.

Elsewhere, the supply shortage doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere soon. The Chicago Med will need to continue to navigate the absence of crucial supplies to provide patient care.

What new ways will the Gaffney staff come up with to be creative, and find patient-centered solutions? It’s possible that the worst of these shortages is still to come.
